John A. Bobango Memphis, East Office
Mr. Bobango's practice concentrates in the areas of securities, venture capital, health care, real estate, commercial and structured transactions, taxation, mergers and acquisitions, business formation, and government relations. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Arkansas State University, his Juris Doctor degree from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis and his Master of Law in Taxation from the Frederic G. Levin College of Law at the University of Florida. Mr. Bobango has significant experience with a variety of financing structures, including private securities offering (both debt and equity transactions), mergers and acquisitions, and mortgage-related debt financings. He also represents numerous early and later stage companies. Mr. Bobango served on the Memphis City Council from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Bobango is currently serving as chairman of the Joint City and Shelby County Community Redevelopment Agency. Mr. Bobango is a member of the Memphis, Arkansas, Tennessee and American Bar Associations, the Florida Bar, the American College of Investment Counsel, National Association of Bond Lawyers and the National Health Lawyers Association. He has been a frequent lecturer on securities and venture capital related issues.
