James E. Bailey III Memphis, Downtown Office
Mr. Bailey's practice concentrates in the areas of bankruptcy reorganization, civil litigation, and general commercial and corporate law. He received his Bachelor Arts from Auburn University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis. Mr. Bailey served as judicial law clerk to Hon. David S. Kennedy, Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, United States Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Tennessee. He is admitted to practice in the states of Tennessee, Arkansas and Alabama. Mr. Bailey is also admitted to practice before the federal courts in the Western District of Tennessee, the Sixth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Memphis, Tennessee, Arkansas, and the Alabama State Bar.
Mr. Bailey formerly practiced with the Memphis firm of Humphreys Dunlap Wellford Acuff & Stanton, PC, which merged with Farris Mathews on January 1, 2004.
