Mr. Coury's practice concentrates in the areas of bankruptcy, business reorganization, creditor's rights, business litigation and transportation law. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College with Honors and his Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University, where he was associate editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Mr. Coury has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of Business Bankruptcy since 1993. He was recently named a "Top 50 Memphis Area Super Lawyer" by Mid -South Super Lawyers, a publication of  Law & Politics and Memphis Magazine. He is a past chairperson of the bankruptcy section of the Memphis Bar Association, and the Tennessee Bar Association Bankruptcy Section. Mr. Coury is also a past director of the Mid-South Commercial Law Institute and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
