Oftentimes, the most difficult task a citizen or business has in solving a problem is determining where, when and how to interface with government officials. Farris Bobango offers unique expertise in governmental relations and administrative law by providing lawyers with first hand experience in a broad array of governmental areas. We offer to our clients a former member of the U.S. Senate, a former member of the Memphis City Council and numerous members with relationships with federal, state and local governments. 

We represent clients at the federal, state, and local levels before the legislative and executive branches of government. This includes legislative, administrative and regulatory matters. Firm members are well-known throughout the state as advocates. Our firm also has a subsidiary, Farris Bobango Bobango Public Strategies, LLC , which provides lobbying services by experienced non-lawyers. Members of our law firm work with members of our lobbying subsidiary when appropriate to fully serve our clients.

In Nashville, our senior member, Harlan Mathews, served 40 years in the state government, including an appointment as Deputy Governor. Mathews also served two years in the U.S. Senate.

One member of the Firm is the former Shelby County Republican Party Finance Chairman and former Memphis City Councilman. Another member served as Shelby County Democratic Party Chairman and is a member of the Tennessee Democratic Party Executive Committee.
