Mr. Acuff's practice focuses on civil litigation, general corporate practice, and real estate. He serves as general counsel for the Memphis and Shelby County Port Commission, and is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers. Mr. Acuff obtained his Bachelor of Science and his Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the Memphis, Tennessee and American Bar Associations; the Alabama State Bar; and the American Bar Foundation.

Mr. Acuff formerly practiced with the Memphis firm of Humphreys Dunlap Wellford Acuff & Stanton, PC, which merged with Farris Mathews on January 1, 2004.
